Ruby Sato Obituary

Ruby C. SATO 90, passed away on Wednesday, March 16th after a sudden illness. Ruby was born and raised in River side, Utah. She is survived by her loving husband, Tad Sato; two daughters: Jennifer Greenfield (Mark), Marilyn Leverson, their son, David Sato; six grandchildren: Lauren Sato, Shawn Doyle, Stephen Sato, Megan Greenfield, Caitlin Leverson, Nathan Leverson and one great-grand daughter, Emi Ellis. Ruby went to Nursing school in Utah and after graduating as an Regis tered Nurse, came to Seattle and worked at Providence Hospital. After raising her children, she later worked at Harborview Hospital. In her later years, she was a devoted grandmother that traveled to wherever her grandchildren had performances, recitals or games. She loved her grandchildren greatly and was proud of them and their accomplishments. She and her husband loved to travel as they took six cruises through out the Pacific Ocean and also traveled to Japan. An avid reader, her kids could not keep up with the number of books she read. She was a wonderful Mom and her family will forever miss her. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 3:00PM in the chapel at Evergreen-Washelli.
