Sonja,
I miss you every day. I miss having Sunday dinner at your home. I miss going on fun field trips and trying new things with you. The cooking classes, spending time at the Wishka house, and so much more. But most of all I miss your loving kindness and bright smile. You always made everyone feel important and nobody ever left hungry. You are a gem. I hope soon to begin Sunday dinners at my home to carry your tradition. Thanks for teaching me about true hospitality. Last weekend Clad took me and my family to see Cirque Du Soleil, Kooza for mine and Olivia's birthdays. It was fantastic and so entertaining! Clad reminded me of when you took us to the Cirque Du Soleil, what a great memory. I'm glad we can share the good stuff in life. I will always hold your memory close to my heart and try to glean from all you taught me about life. Love you always my Sonja Begonia.

Sonja I have a very fond and joyful memory Id like to remind you of and let everyone know that you did this to me.... We were having Easter dinner at Grandma Leah's house and while everyone one was off playing, talking, or napping Sonja was at the table all by herself. She was sitting there carving the plate of butter into the shape of a sitting FROG. Then at dinner when we were all sitting around the table I asked Sonja to pass me some butter (thinking she would have to destroy the lovely creation she had just made). She gladly took up a very large knife full and reached across the table to hand it to me. I reached to grab the knife and as soon as i got to the knife she very rapidly swaped the handle end for the butter covered end and smirred the large glob of butter all over my hand. I was speechless as well as everyone else at first, but the table soon turned into laughter. Sonja I have never forgot this and trust me when i say SOMEDAY I WILL GET YOU BACK. I will miss ya. Love Briggs

From the Dacha to Stretch Island Sonja was always smiling and quick to bring a second helping of food, joking that "i was too skinny." She was ready for adventure, we used to catch giant grasshoppers in jars at Stretch Island. Sony was a good friend of my moms so I saw her often. I made some mistakes over the years, but she saw me for me, non-
judgemental and forgiving , kind and happy . Thats how I strive to be . Wish I coulda seen her again but shes in a better place. My heart goes out to Clad and everyone close to her .

Sonja, I have known you since the B-2 days (mid 80's) You were such a positive and upbeat person always having a kind word. I remember going back and forth between the two building and how in the winter it was so cold and then when we finally got a truck, the heater didn't work very good...We couldn't wait for the summer but then it was too hot...We had a good time then. When I got transferred to were you were working, you greeted me like a lost friend.I will always consider you a friend. God has a beautiful angel. I will see you on the other side...
