Ronald Christopherson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 10, 2010.
Ronald Ray CHRISTOPHERSON Ronald Ray Christopherson passed away on December 3, 2010 at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He had spent the last years of his life battling COPD and was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma. Ron was born on April 16, 1946 in Seattle to Raymond and Marian Christopherson and was the youngest of three children. He lived most of his life in Renton and attended Renton High School. While working at Hillcrest Bowl he met his first wife, Stephanie, and together they had three daughters. In his youth, he was competitive bowler. He had a beautiful voice and loved to sing and whistle. He played a mean game of Rummy and also enjoyed golfing. His family is what was most important to him. For a few years, his daughters lived with him after he and Stephanie divorced. Some of his favorite times were watching Little House on the Prairie together and taking his girls fishing at the trout farm. He had a very charming personality and a warm smile. Ron is survived by his three daughters: Rhonda, Nicole and Janette. Along with his grand- children: Leanne, Shayann, Brandon, Tyler, Kyle and Sarah and his great-granddaughter, Kolbie. He is also survived by his brother, Kenwood. Ron was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Janice Marshlain and her children and his cousin Gary Christopherson. Memorial services will be on Monday, December 13, 2010 at 12:00p.m. at Nativity Lutheran Church, 17707 140th Ave. NE, Renton. In lieu of flowers, please give to the Salvation Army or your favorite charity. Sign Ron's on-line Guest Book at www.Legacy.com.

Thank you to everyone for your kind wishes and memories about our Dad. I'm glad he's no longer in pain and know he's smiling from heaven.

It was amazing to see the family and friends who came to today's service and all the wonderful wishes... I'm truly touched and I'm sure Dad is too.
