Roy Bratcher Obituary

Roy Allen Bratcher, 56, of Simpsonville died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Baptist Health in Louisville. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and an employee of Roll Forming. He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy & Lucille McGaughey Bratcher; first wife, Sheila Johnson Bratcher; second wife, Janice Patton Bratcher; and brother, Larry Ray Bratcher. He is survived by his daughter, Erin Presley (Anthony), Shelbyville; son, Eric Bratcher (Ashley), Shelbyville; sister, Glenda Bratcher Perry, Waddy; 7 grandchildren, Erica Bratcher, Christian Mullins, Madison Shouse, Jamie Smothers, Autumn Bratcher, Anthony Smothers, Austin Presley; step son, Michael Smothers; step daughter, Jennifer Smothers, and special friend, Carol Ann Reid. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 11th at the Shannon Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Taylor officiating. Visitation will be 1-8 P.M. Friday and after 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

So sorry for the loss of your Dad. Eric and Erin you both are in my thoughts and prayers . Your parents are very special people and to lose both of them at such young age is hard . I dont know what to say to comfort you other then i love you both and you both turned out to be awesome parents in which i know your Mom and Dad would be so proud. Love Diane
