What a wonderful way to start the anniversary of your passing, Mom. Re-read your tribute and the messages left by family and friends. You are ever present in our lives. Especially as Kevin and I plan on taking a trip this year, something you and Dad loved doing together. Love you and miss you!

Mom - Thank you for being there for me in memory. When I try to be a better Mom, wife and friend, I often ask myself, What would Mom have done? and that's usually the path I choose. I love you and miss you lots. Yours always, Mary Grace

Dear Mary and family,
Your intelligent, talented, professional, beautiful, loving and service-oriented family is the best legacy any parent could have gifted our world! Each one of you is a tribute to the wonderful parents you have. Although you will miss them acutely, they live on in each of you. I am grateful to have known your mother for the wonderful mother that she must have been by knowing you, Mary. My heart goes out to each of you in your deep personal loss. May the love of your family and friends support you through your sorrow. Love, Cathi

Thank you for your eloquent obituary about Jennie Jue. What a full life, led with strength, smarts, spunk, and service. She was a role model, I'm sure, for many young Asian American women in that generation, surviving prejudice of all kinds, the Korean War, raising 9 children (!), then returning to the work force, and supporting her husband of 63 years through his illness. I'm so sorry for your family's loss. I hope you have some solace knowing that her strengths now live on in her children and grandchildren. I'm honored to know Mary Jue who shares her some of her very same attributes-of strength, smarts, spunk, and service orientation--as her mother. My sympathies to your entire family.

Dearest Mary Grace and siblings, My deepest, heartfelt condolences on the loss of your mother. Although you know she's with your father, there's an emptiness that in time your tears will be filled with loving memeories, laughter, and endless, unconditional love. Prayers to you all to give you strength during this time. Your tribute to your mom is absolutely beautiful and it's clear how much she meant to you all.
Fondly, Maria McKenney

Love to the family & deepest sympathy for your loss. From knowing Mary Elizabeth & Mary Grace since high school, I knew Jennie was an awesome mom. When I met her, I loved her "spunk" as well as her ability to organize a household of 9 kids -- everyone of them brillant & with outstanding Catholic family values! I admired her Asian "pioneer spirit", especially when she told me she played on a basketball team. She was a versatile lady with many skills & she radiated kindness & grace.

Our deepest condolences as A. Jennie played such a large role and had a presence that was felt throughout the extended family...she will be greatly missed. We were at least heartened to see, throughout the years but especially in the final days, her surrounded by family, friends, and most importantly, love. She derived such joy from her family and it was a privilege to see her, ever sharp and witty, soak in the hustle & bustle of the house filled again with the kids. We love you and will sorely miss you, Aunt Jennie.

Condolences to the Jue family. Her grace and legacy live on through her family and all those she touched. I appreciated her gentleness and kind expression of Nuestro Canto de Salud as family. Her spirit is alive in all of us because that's who she was. She modeled an open heart, grace and clarity as is exemplified in her story. Honored to have been in her space, even if for a minute!! Peace and continued love, Gloria Flores-Garcia
