On August 20, 2013 Lola Belluomini passed from this life as she lived, with dignity, grace, and courage.
A San Francisco native, she was born on September 5, 1931, to Constantino and Carlotta Panattoni. She was a life-long resident of the Marina District, attending St Vincent de Paul, St Rose Academy and San Francisco College for Women.
Lola is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Steven, her three cherished daughters Pamela, Sandra and Angela and her devoted sons-in law David Altman, Daniel Hartman and Paul Briggs. She will be deeply missed by her adoring grandchildren Alessandro Altman, Maximilian and Allegra Hartman, Giovanni, Francesca and Dante Briggs.
Lola lived life fully with a youthful exuberance and humanity, great joy and elegance. She had an indomitable spirit, discerning sense of style and keen eye for all things of beauty - but what she truly treasured most was her family and closest friends whom she held dear. In recent years, she enjoyed traveling with family and friends, and was always enthusiastically planning her next great adventure. As she often remarked, she was blessed with a wonderful life.
Her family is deeply grateful to their many friends for their love and support. Private family services were held. Donations in Lola's memory can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org/tribute or your favorite charity.

Lola was a very classy and beautiful woman. all the times the four of us would go out to dinner it always amazed me and Pattsie how much she could eat (LOL) and never gain a pound. We were jealous of her genes. PS: there isn’t a day goes by that I do not look up to the heavens to my friend Steven and tell him how much I miss our daily talks! It still hurts to think of him gone...hope the two of them are dancing and eating up a storm in heaven...

Dear Pam and Sandy,
Your mother and mine were good friends, often sitting next to each other at the mothers' meetings at school. Your mother was such an elegant and beautiful woman. I am sorry for your loss. My dear mother passed away 3 years ago and I remember her fondly every single day. We are lucky to have had such mothers.
My best regards to you and your family.

Dear Belluomini Family! I am so sad to hear about Lola! What a terrific and beautiful lady! My parents adored Lola and I had the opportunity to know Lola through Pamela and I felt the same! I will pray for your family and understand your sadness during this time. Lola is watching over all of you! She loved her family and always put them first in everything she did!
