Billy was a very good friend of my Father in law ,John Mathias Kern. They worked togheter for over thirty years, fished, played cards on friday nights and raised families.
On a very tragic day in 1980 Bill suffered a horrendous workplace accident when he fell from a silo. There were some tense moments when we did not know if he would pull out.of this.He did.It was his humble character to be strong. To know that his family needed him.
That and he was not done fishing yet.I sure do miss being the recipient of the catch of the day.I imagine now that John has been waiting for him.Saying "What took you so long"Connected again for another round of cards.
Without the pain or the kids running around to pester them.they all can finally be at peace.
God Bless Billy and God Bless them All.
Mrs.Edward Kern
