Dan and family, I am so saddened by the loss of such a bright spirit. I will always remember Gale's reaction to the sting-rays that we were hand feeding on one of the islands during our Tahiti cruise. As I recall, it was on that cruise that Gale discovered she enjoyed line dancing and ended up joining the Starduster dance group.

I will write Gale's name on a ribbon that will be flown during the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk for the Cure next weekend and keep her in my heart during the 60 mile walk.

Mom, I will forever miss you...

Don't be mad
If I cry
It just hurts so bad, sometimes
'Cause everyday it's sinking in
And I have to say goodbye all over again

You know I bet it feels good to have the weight of this world off your shoulders now
I'm dreaming of the day when I'm finally there with you

Save a place for me
I'll be there soon
I'll be there soon
Save a place for me
Save some grace for me
I'll be there soon
I'll be there soon

I have asked the questions why
But I guess the answers for another time
So instead I pray, with every tear
And be thankful for the time I had you here

I wanna live my life Just like you did
Make the most of my time Just like you did
And I want to make my home up in the sky Just like you did
Oh, but until I get there...
Until I get there...

About 11 years ago Gale and I were at the Dilday Mortuary on Woodruff Ave. and I was out front trying to get a very small kitten out of the tree.I had no luck. Gale came out to see what I was doing and within minutes Gale was able to get the kitten to come into her arms.Gale told me to take the kitten home and give it some milk.(You didn’t argue with Gale) I did and I still have that wonderful cat because of her.. Gale had a great love for animals which I will always remember and be grateful!
