Dear Meg, and family
We just read of Nat's passing in the Concordia Benefits Bulletin. We are very sorry for your loss, and will keep you all in our prayers. We became close to you and Nat years ago at Bethany Long Beach. Marsha taught 4th grade and I was at Lutheran High School L.A. Pastor Nat baptized our first child. We are retired now, and have four grandchildren. We wish you well as you continue to work through this difficult ordeal. God Bless.

Our prayers and sympathy go out to Meg and the entire Loesch Family. Pastor Loesch had such a loving heart and knew how to touch the hearts of everyone. He baptized & confirmed Nicole and Ryan. He always had a greeting for Paul " Hi Viet Nam buddy", as they served there at the same time. He will always have a special place in our hearts.

Pastor was so gifted in so many ways.I will always remember his gift of memory. My husband and I would visit from Big Bear on rare occasions (once a year) and he would remember our names and ask me how I was enjoying living there. He really had a true personal love for each one of us. God Bless you Pastor for touching so many lives.....Verla (Sather) Robillard, Apple Valley, Ca.

Pastor was a gift to my family. He was there for us when my sister married and he buried her, and was a guiding light to her three children. He was an amazing man who extended the grace and truth of our Lord to whomever he came into contact with!! It was a privilege to know him!

Pastor Loesh was my rock when attempting to raise three small children as a single parent. Any time I went to him with an issue regarding the children, he was right there to step in. I'm so grateful to have had him in our lives. He was a great help with Mike, Mark and Michelle certainly on issues for which I just didn't think I could take another step. Pastor Loesch is a great man, a humble man and a loving man who buried my children's paternal grandparents, confirmed my children, baptized my four grandchildren, married Mark and his wife, and buried my Mike. Pastor Loesch and his goodness, solace and peace will be remembered by my remaining family for all of our days. Godspeed, pastor Loesch. We truly loved you......

The Hammer Family; Sharron, Mike, Mark and Family, and Michelle and son. He is part of us forever.

What a true blessing to this earth was Pastor Loesch. There isn't an important moment in my life that he wasn't there for. He baptized me at six months old. In the eighth grade he confirmed and gave me first communion. I remember sitting next to him on the altar while I was an acolyte that loved sitting next to him and listening to his boisterous voice. As I grew up he was always there for me. Later he would baptize all three of my daughters and my husband. The May he retired he officiated Scott's and my reaffirmation of vows. He came to the hospital when our daughters were born. I had the utmost respect, love and admiration for Pastor Loesch. My blessings to your family.

I just received news of Pastor Loesch's passing. My heart is breaking and I know he is in a better place. That last time I saw him was at my mother's (Sylvia Todd) graveside service. He was so very important to our family. He officiated at my wedding in 1994. Heaven is more brighter with his presence. He had such a wonderful sense of humor, his sermons were so meaningful and current to the times we live. I was so honored to have called him my pastor. You will never, never be forgotten.

Pastor Loesch officiated the marriage (1981) of my late husband (Brad) and me. Prior, he baptized me and my son Darren. Pastor Loesch was a remarkable, loving, and spiritual man. I will especially treasure the memories of his Wednesday Lenten services at Bethany.

God be with you all.

Pastor Loesch wore his uniform for my dad's funeral 22 years ago, a Navy man himself. When I told pastor how that would have made my dad so happy he replied "And I was so happy to get it buttoned up!" Peace and love, Bob and Kathy Walther

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Pastor Loesch. So many years have gone by but I wanted to share my thoughts/memories about him. I remember when your family came to Bethany and Rachel was in my class. I think we were in the 5th grade. I have so many fond memories of going to Bethany, I remember one lent season, every service had a phone call from a lady and that was how the sermon went. I couldn't wait until the next week. And for a kid to want to go back, that was something. I also remember how loud he sang.. I loved it..It was great. As an adult, he married my ex-husband and I,as well as baptizing both of my kids. When I would go to Monday night services he always was there with open arms even if I didn't go too often. He will always be in my memories. I pray that your family finds comfort in dealing with this loss. I lost my Dad in March and I truely know how deep it hurts. Wishing you all the best in this difficult time.

God Bless you all,

Christine Flowers (Weiss)
