I was so happy that I was able to attend Tia's funeral. I have such treasured memories of my Tia, from my early years on family vacations, and also my years in Southern California while I was at UCLA. My Tia's laugh and smile are such a happy part of my memories, and I cannot think about her without remembering the impish light in her eyes. My Tia had that little mischievous side of her that popped out now and then when she was young (probably encouraged by her sisters!), and you could still see it when she was older. I loved that she could be such a lady, but still get silly. My best memory of her will always be at my wedding, singing, dancing, and having such a great time. I will miss her, but I know she is with her family in our Father's heaven.
