Andy will be remembered as a dedicated veteren to all of us that knew him. He was a "Plank Owner" of VP65 from it's beginning. With a smile always on his face and a kind word to everyone, you will be missed. Fair winds and following seas ahead.

It is a sad day. Andy was a wonderful man. I truly loved him. I knew Andy for my entire 21 years in the Navy. He taught me so much. Andy had a kindness about him that is hard to find. There is a void in my heart that will never be filled. I will dearly miss him as well as all my fellow VP-65 shipmates. I remenber going to the club with Andy and friends. He would hang longer than us younger sailors. He would be to work bright eyed and bushy tailed in the morning. God bless his sole. Fairs winds and following seas my friend. We will meet again.

We have all lost a good friend and buddy; he leaves a big empty space in our lives, and a great many good memories to fill the void. He is without pain now, and we send him on his last journey with love and prayers.
