LOUISE MARTINEZ Obituary

LOUISE VASQUEZ MARTINEZ Born in Redlands, CA, on June 21, 1931, passed away at age 79, on September 9, 2010, at her home in San Bernardino. She was the jewel and treasure of our hearts. Her love, friendship, generosity, and laughter will be deeply missed. Her survivors include her children, Sal Acevedo, Jr., Barney Acevedo, Kathy Acevedo, Susan Mendoza, Cindy Schroeder, Lori Acevedo, & Randy Acevedo. Her brothers, Tony, Salvador, Libert, Johnny, Jessie, Willie, and sisters, Rosie and Erlinda also survive her. She also leaves behind 23 Grandchildren, including her loving Granddaughter and caregiver, Sonya Hernandez; & 25 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 17, from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. at Colton Funeral Home, 1275 N. La Cadena Dr., Colton, CA 92324. Celebration of Life Memorial and Reception will be held on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, at 12 o'clock at Heritage Christian Church, 7209 Arlington Ave., Suite G, Riverside, CA 92503.

To all my cousins: I'm so sorry for the loss of your beautiful mom. My Nina always made me special, she always greeted me with love and warmth. You all have been blessed her kind loving spirit. She will be missed but never forgotten. Prayers and love, your cousin Vickie
