Behling, Shirley Mae

Shirley Mae Behling, age 69, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away Friday, August 31, 2012, at her daughters residence.

Shirley was born July 28, 1943 to Peter and Dorothy (Schutz) Wagner. She was united in marriage to Ronald Behling on July 14, 1962.

Shirley graduated from Hartford Union High School in 1961. She attended MATC and received training as an Emergency Room Technician. She retired from nursing in Home Health Care. Shirley loved animals, walking, biking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Shirley is survived by children, Scott (Marion) Behling, Amber (Edwin) LaVigne, and Kim (Eric) Kamine; grandchildren, Felicia Cudahy, Brendan , Brianna, Alyssa, and Remington LaVigne, and Cole Kamine; siblings, Jerry (Teri) Wagner, Ronald (Gail) Wagner, Laurie (John "Huntz") Krutke, and Debra Lang; sister-in-law, Cathy Wagner; and her dear friend, Mary Anne (Bill) Fischer. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ronald, and her brother David.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home, 824 Union Street, Hartford. The family will greet relatives and friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hartford.
