JoAnn Ladwig Obituary

JoAnn E. Ladwig, 75, of Two Rivers and a longtime resident of Sheboygan Falls and Oostburg died on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.

JoAnn was born on October 23, 1940 in Sheboygan, the daughter of Leslie and Irene (Nennig) Zimmermann. She graduated from Sheboygan Central High School in 1959. On July 1, 1961 she married Orlin J. Ladwig in Cedar Grove. Orlin preceded her in death on July 18, 2009. JoAnn worked at Mentink's Market in Oostburg for several years prior to her retirement in 2001.

She enjoyed bowling, arts and crafts, traveling, sports, camping, NASCAR and wintering in Myrtle Beach, SC.

JoAnn is survived by three sons, Mark Ladwig of Milwaukee, Scott (Mary) Ladwig of Wrightstown, and Richard (Jennifer) Ladwig of Two Rivers; six grandchildren, Megan, Kayla, Mary, Josh, Eric, and Sarah Ladwig; one sister, Mary Zimmermann of Milwaukee; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 48 years, Orlin; and an infant daughter Michelle Renee Ladwig.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls. Rev. David Van Dixhorn will officiate. Burial will take place at the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
