August 08, 2011, was a sad day for “Our Family”. For my family, she was my wife’s mom, and my Mother “n” Law, she was my son’s Grandma and my granddaughter’ Great Grandma, also known as “Pinky’s Grandma” (the family dog was Pinky). She passed away after a long battle with lung cancer; she was a strong person as well as a special lady. She never showed any fear of passing, she just worried about her family; she wanted to make sure that we would all be okay. She passed away very peacefully with her family at her side, the love in the room was very strong, we shared stories that brought many smiles, laughs and yes some tears. If there is one thing I could say about my mother n law and my father n law, is that they were very special and family was their only concern. I was very lucky to be a part of their family. It was all about Family, Love and Togetherness. She was very much loved and she will be missed, the only peace I find in my heart is knowing that she is in a peaceful place, arm in arm with her husband (Glen Bennion). Mom ………I Miss You and love you,

Mom,
I dearly miss you. I miss our late night phone calls. Athough I miss you dearly, I have peace knowing you are no longer in pain. I'm so glad that I spend the last week with you. These are memories that I will forever hold in my heart. I know one day we will see each other again and catch up on everything. You and dad are together again and thats what is important. Don't worry about all of us, we will take care of each other. I Love You Mom. You were the greatest!!!! Tell Dad I said hello...Mona

Clara, you were such a big part of my life growing up. We first met your family when I was 6 years old in 1960, 51 years ago. Benny introduced me to my husband. I looked forward to the weekends when my parents and I would come visit. You're whole family was a 2nd family to me. You & Glen and my mom and dad were such good friends. When Bill & I were living in Imperial Beach when we first got married I remember coming to your house every day to watch General Hospital! Fun times. So glad we got to see you a few months ago. You will be missed but no more suffering.

My Grandmother Clara L Bennion... You have been in my life since I was born in 1979. Throughout the years we've created lots of loving and happy memories that will never be forgotten. You were always there for me no matter what. You were a strong women and never gave up for anything.I've always looked up to you, just as I do to my own mother, and always will. Thank you Grandma for all you have done and Thank you for being the best grandmother. Even though God has taken you to Heaven you will forever be in my heart and a part of my life. Now in Heaven you can live with no more suffering, just happiness. You and Grandpa can live eternal happiness with no worries. I love you so much,
even though it hurts that you are gone, I am know you are finally no longer in pain and are in a better place. God be with You and Grandpa! Amen. I Love You!
