EVA DREYER Obituary

DREYER, EVA M. Nov. 7, 1922 to Oct. 5, 2010 Eva Dreyer was born in Newton, Kansas on November 7, 1922. She was the middle daughter of Lewis and Elsie Dreyer and had four other siblings; Fay, Richard, Don and Donna. Her love of family, life and faith were a gift and inspiration to everyone that knew her. Eva is a beloved sister-in-law and beloved aunt to 13 nieces and nephews, 24 great-nieces and nephews and nine great-great-nieces and nephews. An original pioneer and career woman championing the successes of professional business women everywhere, she was the Local President and later the California State President of Business and Professional Women (BPW). In 1983, she retired from the medical department of Pacific Bell. Eva was a devout member of Fletcher Hills Presbyterian Church having served as a Deacon and Circle Leader. Eva enjoyed family gatherings, reading and playing cards with friends. As a world traveler, she went to many exotic places and kept great photo albums ready for viewing or commentary. Eva Dreyer instituted many family traditions that shall continue in her honor. Her memorial service will be held Sunday, October 17, 2010, at 3 p.m., Fletcher Hills Presbyterian Church in El Cajon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eva's name to the church at 455 Church Way, El Cajon, CA. 92020. (619)463-6631. Her strength was a lesson to everyone.
