MILDRED HANSEN Obituary

HANSEN, MILDRED KATHERINE (OXFORD) Mildred Katherine (Oxford) Hansen, 86, passed away October 12, 2010. She was born in Pea Ridge, AR on December 14, 1923. Millie will be missed by her loving husband of 68 years, John O., her son, John R. and Marilyn of Visalia, CA, her grandsons, Craig and Sandra of Temecula, CA and Christopher and Nicola of Swaffham, England.She loved being great-grandma to Katie, Devon, Jack, Matt, John C. "JC", Zoe and Sarah. Mildred moved to San Diego from St. Joseph, MO in 1942. She retired from S.D.G.&E. in 1985. Her favorite things in life were taking care of her "Johnny", her grandkids, travel and quilting. Services will take place Saturday, October 16th, at 2:00 p.m., Greenwood Memorial Park, Last Supper Chapel.

Mildred and John were like second parents to me while I lived with them during my first year in college. She was such a loving lady! She will be missed in this life but we have hope and will rejoice in meeting her in heaven!

My beautiful "friend" who shared many things with me.....knowledge (beautiful work) helping me with my quilting.
