I knew Dick from many years ago in San Diego. He was an admirable person: open, authentic, generous, courageous. I'm sorry to hear he's gone. Condolences, Claudia ... we were lucky to have known him.

Dick was one of my most influential friends, a true one-of-a-kind and a gentleman. I went to many car club events and races with Dick, he was so much fun - a dry, clever wit, and the most generous guy I ever knew. This will take a long time to get over. RIP, Dick, as one of the best friends any one could ever have had.

Claudia, it was great to catch up to you two at Rockford, I wish - as in all things - we'd had more time and ability to visit. Jones was a good friend, one of those that you always remember and recall of fond memories. I'm glad he found you and 'settled down' these many years passed and hope you find solace in memories of his best days.

Dick was a great guy and was Bestman at my wedding and a true friend.
He was knowledgeable in many, many things and loved to share his knowledge and help whenever he could.
I haven't seen him for several years but am really sad that he is gone!
Wish that I could have said "Hi'" again.
