Queen Ester Nichols
SPRINGFIELD - Queen Ester Nichols, 35, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2010. She was employed at Springfield Terrace until she became sick.
She was a member of Friendship Full Gospel Church in Springfield.
She leaves to cherish her memories - her parents, Rev. James and Queen Nichols, two children Sierra and Cameron Frison, one sister Sharon Nichols, two brothers, Thomas Nichols (all of Springfield), and James (Machella) Nichols of Germany, maternal grandmother Annie Wilson of Mississippi and fraternal grandparents Rev. Robert J. (Frederica) Nichols of East St. Louis, companion Harry Griffis of Springfield, IL, the father of her children, Robert Frison and his mother, Sarah Frison, and a host of other relatives.
Visitation at Friendship Full Gospel Church, 1501 E. Washington, Springfield, from 4pm-7pm. Funeral at 12:00 noon at New Jerusalem Church in East St. Louis, Illinois.

I went to High School with Queen. I just saw the obituary online today and was shocked that someone so young and beautiful is gone. I am sorry for her family's loss. Her family will be in my thoughts and prayers. May Queen be at Peace.

I was a childhood friend from school with Queen, and my mother was the family beautician (Francine Duncan)she was an sweet and endearing individual, we shared many laughs & fun moments growing up as young girls she will be sadly missed, My sympathy & prayers goes out to the family.

I won't ever forget Queen, she had a quiet, calm spirit that i always admired. She and i attended Lanphier High School together, class of 1993.
