Eloise Jones Wingo
INMAN, SC-- Eloise Jones Wingo, 89, formerly of 157 Inn View Drive, Inman, went to be with her Lord, Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at Golden Age Nursing Home-Inman. Born July 3, 1922, in Pauline, SC, Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late William Henry and Maude McBride Jones. She was the wife of the late L. B. Wingo having celebrated over 50 years of marriage and enjoyed traveling the world together.
Eloise was a faithful member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church, attended Cecil's Business College, graduated from Gramling High School in 1940, and retired from Crown Cork and Seal, Inc.
She was the last survivor of eleven children and was predeceased by brothers, William Bernard Jones, Sr., Henry Arden Jones, Raymond Cecil Jones, James Ralph Jones, Homer Earl Jones, Sr., John Leon Jones, and Donald Melford Jones; sisters, Ionia Anitha Jones, Ruth Jones Charles, and Louise Jones Lancaster. She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Polly West Jones, Marcelle Seay Jones, Judy Shelton Jones; brother-in-law, Howard Charles; as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 2:00-2:45 PM Thursday, September 22, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Jarrett McNeely. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with her nephews serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Poplar Springs Baptist Church, P.O. Box 417, Moore, SC 29369; or Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.
The family wishes to thank Golden Age Nursing Home-Inman and Hospice of the Carolina Foothills for the excellent care given to Mrs. Wingo.
The family will be at their respective homes.

Dear Wingo and Jones Family,
Sorry to see you loved one's obituary in the paper. L.B. Wingo was a cousin of my Dad, Hugh Wingo. He passed in March of 2011. It seems to be a rough year for our family.
