Kathy and all, just want you to know how sorry I am to hear of the loss of your mom, my beloved Auntie Gen. She was so sweet and kind, and was concerned for all of us. I remember how much my mom thought of her, she used to say that Gen was pure sweetness and she loved spending time with her. I will never forget all of the holidays and Sunday dinners, and of course the big lutefisk feeds. Your friendship and all of the times we went adventuring together, playing in the basements, and singing along to the player piano. We loved visiting the cousins. Lynne Jacobsen

I'm sorry to hear of th loss of your mother. I met Kathy at Deac. School of Nursing. Several times I spent the weekend at your house when there was so much snow and I couldn't go home to Cd"A. I always felt welcome. I also saw your mother at Lutheran Church Women conventions several times. My prayers are with you at this time.

I have beautiful memories of Gen, when she visited in Michigan and in Jon's and Sharon's home in Livermore. I think of her every Christmas, when I make her Christmas Bread for my family. May your precious memories of her bring you comfort and ease the ache in your hearts.

I grew up with Penny, went to Loma Vista Grade School and Shadle Park High School. I walked to school with Penny and met your mom during that time. My sympathy in the passing of your mother. I know the Lord will be more than a comfort. Thinking and praying for your family. Lenore Johns Elvington
