Family-Placed Obituary
NICHOLSON, Philip A. 63, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas died Wednesday, February 2, 2005 in a Hot Springs hospital. Born December 24, 1941 at Hanover, Pennsylvania, to Gerard I. and Helen M. Staub Nicholson, he was a retired United States Air Force major and member of Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Linda Nicholson of Hot Springs Village; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Daniel A. Nicholson of Ponca City, Oklahoma and Jeff and Tracy Good of Orland Park, Illinois; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Annemarie and James Hooge of Boerhne, Texas, Diane Nicholson of Brown County, Ohio, Donnalyn and Warren Floyd of New Haven, Indiana and Allison Good of Alexandria, Virginia; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Francis and Kathy Nicholson of York, Pennsylvania and Michael Nicholson of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Rita and Lavern Weaver of McSherrystown, Pennsylvania and Anne and Jim Flynn of Glenville, West Virginia; and five grandchildren. The service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ann Harrison officiating. The body will be cremated. Memorials may be made to Christ of the Hill United Methodist Church, 700 Balearic Road, Hot Springs Village, Arkansas 71909. Arrangements are by CARUTH VILLAGE FUNERAL HOME.
