COLEMAN, Barbara J. of Seffner, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 4, 2011, at 11 am at St. John Cathedral, 3401 East 25th Avenue, with Rev. Leonard Coleman, Pastor of Faith Hope Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. Born June 7, 1942 to Alberta Nicholson Houston and Love Forrest in Cairo, GA. Mrs. Coleman attended Lincoln Memorial High School in Palmetto, FL. After graduation she was united in holy matrimony to Jack Curtis Coleman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alberta Nicholson Houston and Love Forrest, husband Jack Curtis Coleman, sisters Nellie Kelly and Annie Deloris Nicholson and brothers, Frank and Eddie Forrest. She leaves to cherish her memory, 6 lovely children, Joseph C. (Brenda) Coleman, Barbara Daniels of St. Petersburg, Jack (Sebine) Coleman of Sarasota, Lawrence Coleman of Augusta, GA, Lisa A. Williams of St. Petersburg, Paula (Frederick) Reid of Tampa; 16 grandchildren, Shunta, Horice, Horace, Jeanette, Caboris, Ineke, Patrick, Michelle, Michael, Tameckia, Selest, Merinda, Maelia, Darnell, Frederick, Scharneice; ten great- grandchildren; 11 sisters, Louise Mitchell of Ft. Myers, Clemmie L. Brown of Powder Springs, GA, Sylvia (James) Williams of Ft. Lauderdale, Cassie Forrest of Ft. Pierce, Linda Thomas, Elaine Forrest, Brenda Forrest, Rosetta (Clinton) Sessions, Gail Forrest of Pompano Beach, Martha Forrest, Alice (Clarence) Gregg of Gainesville; stepmother, Janie M. Forrest of Gainesville; 5 brothers, Tommy Forrest, Marvin (Linda) Forrest, Arthur (Mignon) Forrest of Pompano Beach, Alfonso (Geryal) Houston, Hardrick Houston, Jr.; stepfather, Hardrick Houston, Sr. of Palmetto; 3 sisters-in-law, Alice (Arzell) Diggs, Ella (Doyle) Thomas, Oreather Coleman; 6 brothers-in-law, Marshall Kelly of Micanopy, FL, David (Edna) Coleman, Harry Coleman, Leonard (Johnnie) Coleman, Alonzo (Mary) Coleman, Ulysses (Justine) Coleman; and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins and friends. The remains will repose after 5 pm Friday, June 3, 2011, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.
