William Brown Obituary

BROWN, William E. Sr. "Bill" 72, of St. Petersburg, died on May 15, 2011. He was a graduate of Gibbs High School and was employed for the Pinellas County School System as chief plant operator for Perkins Elementary and 16th Steet Middle Schools, retiring after 37 years of service, and was a member of New Faith Free Methodist Church, serving with the Steward, Trustee and Men Ministries and former member of Stewart-Isom Memorial CME Church. Survivors include sons, Douglas and Michael Brown, Anthony and Rodney Jackson; daughters, Cynthia Brown (Alvin), Laura Charles (Alex), Angelene, Michelle and Octavis Brown, Yolonda Davis (Daniel) and TaLisa Bostic; brothers, Dr. Ernest Brown and George Brown; sisters, Edith Williams (Harold), Doris Brown and Carol Myles; companion, LaTrezia Lane; 28 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral service Saturday, May 21st, 1 pm-Prayer Tower Church of God In Christ. Visitation, Friday, May 20th, 3-5 pm at Smith Funeral Home, wake 6 pm at New Faith Free Methodist Church.
