Mary Beth Blosser Nicholson

Mary Beth Blosser Nicholson Mary Beth Blosser Nicholson, age 50, of Wilmington, N.C.; formerly of Culpeper, Va., passed away at her home in N.C. Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Mary was born in Charleston, W.Va. on June 22, 1960, to Robert "Bud" C. Blosser, III and Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Bailey Blosser.

Mary was a devoted mother and had worked as a Guidance Counselor at Sycamore Elementary School in Culpeper. Surviving Mary is her husband, John R. Nicholson of Wilmington, N.C.; her children, Allison Gayheart of Washington, D.C., Andrew "Drew" Gayheart of Blacksburg, Va., Cole Gayheart of Culpeper, Va. and step-son, John William Nicholson of Culpeper, Va.; her siblings, Robert C. Blosser, IV and his wife, Debbie of Charlottesville, Va., Dan Blosser of Rich-mond, Va., Lorie Radliff and her husband, Steve of Ivy, Va., Joanna Baird and her husband, Greg of Kiawah, S.C. and her parents, Bud Blosser and his wife, Martha Sue of Farmville, Va. and Betty Blosser of Culpeper, Va. Mary is also survived by a number of nieces; nephews; her sister-in-law, Nancy E. Nicholson of Richmond, Va. and her aunt, Brenda B. Dickson and her husband, Tom of Columbus, Ohio.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2010, in the Culpeper Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. R. Wayne Bernardo conducting services.
