Margaret Ann Burton Margaret Ann Burton, 78 of Calverton, VA passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital, Richmond, VA surrounded by family after a long illness.

She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. M. Raymond Taylor and was also predeceased by an older brother Maurice R. Taylor, Jr. A sister, Dorothy Jeffries of Warrenton survives her.

She was graduated from the old Calverton High School, Calverton, VA. She was married to Wilbur W. Burton, who survives her, for sixty years where she made her home at Wainbur Farms. Margaret Ann loved her family and her church, Wesleyan United Methodist Church, Calverton, where she was Lay Leader, taught Sunday School, and participated on various committees.

In addition to her husband and sister, she is survived by a daughter Mrs. Gayle B. Foley and son-in-law Carroll; three sons- Wilbur W. Burton, Jr., W. Steven Burton and daughter-in-law Janet, and Harold W. Burton and daughter-in-law Jacqueline; seven grandchildren- Sarah F. Barhight and husband Grif, Margaret A. Foley, William B. Foley, Jennifer P. Burton, Amy M. Myers and husband Joshua, Rachel E. Burton, and Harold W. Burton, Jr.; great grandson- Jayden Myers, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, VA where funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 30 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Marshall Veres will officiate. Interment Warrenton Cemetery.

Her Pallbearers will be Jim Craun, Albert Bender, Mike Neal, Bill Landis, Mike Anns and Kent Cassell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lair Reister and George "Bud" Maghan.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wesleyan United Methodist Church, PO Box 241, Calverton, VA 20138. Online condolences may be made at www.moserfuneralhome.
