"Buddy"

Ronald F. Leake Ronald F. "Buddy" Leake of Amissville, Va. died on October 1, 2010 at Fauquier Hospital. He was born in Albermarle County, Virginia to the late Arthur W. and Mildred H. Leake.

Buddy was the former owner of Belvoir Electronics and currently worked for Eastern Applicators as a drywall finisher since 1964. He also served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves being discharged Nov. 30, 1964. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Russell and Betty Jo Collier. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Majorie Lavenia Reese Leake; a son, Ronald F. Leake, Jr., (Buddy, Jr.) of Tampa, Fla. and a nephew, Gene Vescogni of Remington, Va.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Amissville United Methodist Church, Amissville, Va., on Tuesday, October 5, 2010. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rappahannock Animal Welfare League, P.O. Box 396, Amissville, VA 20106 or Paralyzed Veterans of America, 801 Eighteenth St., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20006-3517. Arrangements by
