Betty L. Stream Groves

Betty L. Stream Groves, 86, of Rixeyville, died on Sunday, January 15, 2012, at INOVA Fairfax Hospital.

She was born on October 16, 1925, in Arlington, Virginia, to the late Aubrey and Viola Loy Stream. She is survived by her five children, Linda Messer of Rixeyville, William Groves Jr. and his wife, Dottie, of Shadyside, Maryland, Gary Groves and his wife, Judy, of Culpeper, Susan Keyes-Childs and her husband, Greg, of Falls Church, and Betty Jean Musa of Centreville; and one brother, Randall Stream and his wife, Frances of Fairfax. Additional survivors include five grandchildren, Maureen McCellen of Dale City, Joshua Eastwood of Front Royal, Brad Keyes of Virginia Beach, Kevin Keyes of Newberry, Florida, Kyle Musa of Centreville, and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Groves; and one sister, Arlene Brown. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, Virginia. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, January 19, 2012, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with the Reverend John Farrar officiating. Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 2654 Valley Ave. Suite, B, Winchester, VA 22601.
