James L. Wise James L. Wise, 81, of Culpeper died Monday, December 27, 2010 at his residence. He was born March 29, 1929 in Greene County, VA to the late James G. and Bernice Geer Wise.

Mr. Wise was a former resident of Baltimore and worked for the Chesapeake Paperboard Box Co. of Baltimore for approximately 40 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter.

He is survived by his wife, Fleda Wise, six children, Joseph, Lynn, Kathryn, Patricia, Michael and Gary, four siblings, Audrey, Betty Jean, Jo Ann, and Thomas, multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, William Wise.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 30, 2010 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.

A family memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Hospice of the Rapidan, P.O. Box 1715, Culpeper, VA 22701 &/or Gideon's International, 605 Old Brandy Road, Culpeper, VA 22701-2825.
