Lola "Evon" Lively Aliff Lola "Evon" Lively Aliff, of Madison, a long time resident of the Northern Virginia area, died February 22, 2011 at her residence in Malvern of Madison, Virginia.

She was the daughter of Bertha and Tilden Lively, a sister of Lorena McGee and brother, Harold Lively, all of whom preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her daughter Teresa Tyler, that passed away in June 1979.

She was born October 2, 1934 in Weirwood, W.Va. and moved to Oak Hill, West Virginia, where she attended Collins High School in Oak Hill. Evon married David R. Aliff on October 10, 1951. Dave and Evon were stationed with the Air Force in Texas, Guam, Massachusetts and settled in Northern Virginia with their three children. Evon's accomplishments included, President and Founder of the Fairfax Police Youth Club, Girls Division, in which she donated her time and efforts for the youth girl's leagues. She loved crocheting, sewing, crafts of all kinds and singing in the church choir.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, David, Sr.; her daughter Pamela Bailey and her son, David, Jr.; her five grandchildren, Kathryn Bailey, Jason Bailey, Nathan Aliff, Nick Bailey and Dustin Aliff and her eight great grandchildren, Brett, Haleigh, Allora, Skyla, Lilyan, Sean, Hanna and Mason who brought great joy to her life. She is also survived by her brother, Melvin Lively, of Michigan and sister, Reva Davis of Ohio.

A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the Madison Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. John Storey.
