Augusto Santos Obituary
Friends will be received 5 to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, Feb. 27, at the Laurel Funeral Home, 201 Laurel Ave., West Keansburg, N.J. 07734. Funeral is on Friday Feb. 28, 2014, at 10:15 a.m. at St. Ann's Church in Keansburg, N.J. Interment will follow in the Bay View Cemetery, Leonardo, N.J. 07716.
Augusto was born Oct. 8, 1925 in Portugal. He worked for the New York Shipping Association for 46 years and was member of the International Longshoremen's Association.
Surviving are his wife, Ilda Santos of Keansburg; daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Jerome Pocius of North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law, David and Cynthia Santos of Hillsborough, N.J.; daughter and son-in-law, Doreen and Kendall Frantz of Atlantic Highlands, N.J.; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis Santos and Dawn Anthony of Morris Plains, N.J.; brother, Daniel and Eileen Santos of Brooklyn, N.Y.; brother, Edward and Michele Santos of Brooklyn, N..Y., and four grandchildren, Katherine, Matthew, Michael & Steven.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the charity of your choice in Augusto's name.
