ERNEST FLOYD DEVINE Obituary

Ernest Floyd Devine, age 89 of Wilmington died Friday, June 13, 2008, at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Ernest was born on April 13, 1919, in Lincoln County, NC. His parents were Bunion Floyd Devine and Mary Docia Goins Devine.
Remembered is his wife, Margaret Turner Devine who preceded him in death.
Ernest was a proud veteran of WW II serving in the US Army as a Tech Sgt. in the infantry. He was a professional mason and helped build many of the homes in the Wilmington area during his career.
He is survived by his three daughters, Roxie Devine Torrence of Florida; Peggy Devine Segars of Wilmington; and Carole Devine Stewart of Wilmington; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be held at 2 p.m. Monday with a memorial service following at 3 p.m. Monday at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Road.
