I met Flo at The Pines where my father, Elliot, was living. Flo and Elliot went to the same high school, Denby, in Detroit, Michigan. Flo was always happy to meet people; she was thrilled to meet my wife, Junna. Junna is from Fuzhou, China, and the two ladies shared quality time talking and looking at pictures from the past. Flo amazingly remembered pictures taken of her when she was a young lady on campus during the World War 2 years. She would share a few memories of her classmates, too. I believe she enjoyed dancing and singing. My memory is not as good as Flo’s memory, and I just turned 59! She was a positive, amazing lady. Junna and I were honored to meet her.

Linda, I am so sorry for your loss. It is never easy to lose a great mom no matter what the circumstances. It makes you grow up real quick even if you thought you were grown up! Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I bet my mom is giving your mom the grand tour in heaven! Love, Ruth

Our condolences for your loss. We enjoyed the times when our mothers were both living at The Pines, and think of Flo with great fondness.
