To the family of Pete Kuffel....
You don't know me but I was a childhood friend to Pete on Pillsbury Avenue in Minneapolis from the age of 5 to 15. He and his next door neighbor, Dennis Anderson bought me a dress from the Sears catalog for my 13th birthday. Pete and I were the same age and if memory serves me right, Dennis was a year younger. It is a very fond memory from my childhood and one I recently shared with one of my daughters. I often wondered what happened to Pete and how his life went. Then tonight I received an email from my brother that he had seen in the paper that Pete had died. I was very happy to read that he had a 45 year marriage and children and grandchildren. Delores, Tim and Bryan, you have my deepest sympathy. I just wish I had seen him as an adult. We were 15 when I saw him last. I am in my 51st year of marriage and have 7 children and 12 grandchildren. I couldn't share that with my old friend Pete but would like to share it with his family.
