I just learned of Linda's passing. It came as quite a shock. I was her 1st manager. I first hired her as a marketing intern while she was in college. Then I hired her when she graduated as an assistant marketing manager. She was a great young lady and grew into a great woman. We lost touch over the years but I always remembered her. God bless.

We had the pleasure of working with the Rooney family on their relocation to the Philadelphia area. Finding the right home, neighborhood, schools and setting for Olivia, Morgan and Aiden was the ultimate priority. Linda spoke constantly about her pride for her children - apologizing many times for sounding as though she was bragging. She just beamed as she described their talents and personalities. Linda shared so many endearing stories during our many house hunting trips and always kept us laughing. We were constantly amazed with her energy, enthusiasm, spunk and ability to multi-task like no other! Linda immediately became more than a client-we became friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with Olivia, Morgan and Aiden. Please take comfort in knowing of the unconditional love and pride your Mom and Dad hold for each of you.

I had the pleasure of working for Linda while in Richmond and there's not many that brought the level of laughter, excitement, and fun that she did to the workplace. Even those of us who knew her for a short while share in your sadness. I hope you know there will be many across the country praying for you all the rest of our lives. I hope you come to feel that power and it gives you strength and comfort.

You and your beautiful family will always be on my mind. I'll miss coming over and seeing you, Mr. Rooney, Morgan, Olivia, and Aiden. My last memory of you was the night before, when Olivia and I were getting ready for our school dance. I'll never forget the smile on your face. Rest in Peace.

I only knew Linda for the couple years she was in the Phila area, felt like I knew her for much longer, I saw her on jan 4 for a few minutes and remember talking about her boots and the deal she got on them, we always compared our bargain shopping skills and what the kids had going on, she was always on the way to do a drop off or a pick up from an activity, I wish the best for the kids and hope they know how many people cared for there mom and have them in there thoughts and prayers

"Get some sleep!". Was the last message I wrote on the cup. "Tell me how it goes". Was the last question I never got an answer to. Some memories will last forever, and the ones with you definitely will. Rest in peace, Miss Linda.

Dear Olivia, Morgan, and Aiden,
I was so saddened to hear about both your mom and your dad. Linda was my Regional Sales Manager when I worked as a Vaccine Specialist in Little Rock, AR. My deepest regrets,

I worked with Linda early in my career and her career at Merck. She was very fun, excellent with customers, understood our business and always looked for opportunities. In recent years, due to her new roles, I did not see her as often. But when we did have meetings together she was still that fun, enthusiastic, creative person.. just in a new role. We will all very much miss her! To Linda's Children-- please know that your Mother is ALWAYS with you in your heart. And she will watch over you ALL your life! You are all in my prayers. Sue-Ellen

I had the honor of working directly for Linda at Merck for the past year. Her energy, passion, and excitement was so powerful, it just made everyone want to be a part of whatever she was leading. I am so honored to have had my life influenced by knowing her as a mentor and a friend. She was so smart, beautiful, and full of life. There was a special smile that would take over her face whenever she talked about her children that was so sweet and full of love. I know her spirit and energy will live in your hearts forever. She will always be with you, always looking over you, and always smiling that “special smile” whenever you think of her.

Linda was one of my best friends at Merck. We spent time together both professionally and personally. Our offices were next to each other and hers was always filled with the latest artwork from both Olivia and Morgan. I also remember her excitement when she found out that she was having a little boy (Aiden). When she spoke of Olivia, Morgan and Aiden it was always with so much love and pride. I will miss her quick wit and infectious laugh. She was a kind, wonderful mother, colleague and friend. I am sorry for your loss. May you find peace knowing that Linda will live in our memories forever.

Linda was an incredible person taken too soon from a world where she had so much to offer. I feel very blessed to have known such an amazing woman, and tremendous spirit that brought endless energy and commitment everywhere she went. As we celebrate her life, her determination and passion, I keep her beautiful 3 children that she adored very much in my thoughts and prayers. Just a few weeks ago, Linda shared with me how proud she was of Olivia's role in Peter Pan (…we celebrated before one of our meetings), how amazed she was of the individual Morgan was growing up to be (...and also, how well Morgan could navigate her family through an airport) and how her little Aiden held a very special place in her heart (we used to always share stories of little boys as I have two of similar ages). Olivia, Morgan and Aiden, may the love of your mother and the wonderful person that she was, live with you in your hearts forever, and keep you going through this incredibly difficult time.

Linda will always hold a special place in my heart. I was incredibly lucky to work with her and learn from her. She had a way of lighting up a room and making everyone she encountered feel special. She was truly a special woman. She was always so inspirational and uplifting. She led our region at Merck with such delight and enthusiasm. I always admired her. She had so much positive energy and brought joy to so many people. She made you feel like you could do anything you set your mind to. She was so proud of her children and family. She always talked about how her children were her motivation. She loved her family dearly. I pray that Linda's children will always know how much their mother loved them. I pray that they can find strength in the good memories. I pray that they can find comfort in all the people who are here for them and deeply care for them.

May Linda's strength and positivity shine always.

Linda sat in front of me in Mr. Kingery's algebra class at Kennedy High School. Often I would forget to put my name on my paper a I handed it forward and she would add my name, in a 1'rst grader sort of way....I'll never forget that..

Linda was an amazing woman. She lit up any room that she walked into with her beautiful smile and infectious personality. I worked with her when we were living in Virginia. At the time, she was pregnant with Aiden. She was always glowing during her pregnancy, so excited to be having another baby! I remember her coming back from a trip with Olivia and Morgan that they took to NYC to do a theater camp. She was so proud of her girls and how well they did and how much they loved the camp. She talked about planning the next one for them to go to. She had this light about her that people just gravitated to her. She loved life and she loved her kids. She was a special lady and I will never forget her. I pray everyday for Olivia, Morgan, and Aiden. I am so, so sorry for your loss.
