Barb was my supervisor in Child protection in Anoka County for many years. She continues to be my mentor and inspiration today. Whether we knew her personally or professionally she blessed our lives with her presence. I remember her fondly.

Barbara Ingrassia was my first social work supervisor. She was an amazing intelligent woman with a dedication to public social welfare. I learned more from her than form anyone in my caree. I was also present for the funeral of her deal daughter....and know the depth of pain that she held and faced...
An amazing woman, professional, and mother.
God's richest blessings to her family and to her everlasting life with family.

So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a wonderful lady! You are all in my thoughts at this difficult time.
I imagine it was a great reunion in Heaven when you met up with your Dad and Anne again. What a party that must've been. Let the memories help you through this time.

Hey Ingrassia boys -- I am really sorry to hear about your mom. I enjoyed meeting her those many years ago, and appreciated her sense of humor. And her cooking too! I seem to recall eating a lot of quality chow at your place. Let Therese and I know if there's anything we can do.

Barb was my supervisor in Anoka County from 1992 - 1998. Your mother reflected all that was noble in the Social Work profession. She has continued to inform and guide my practice. She was a great lady. I wish you comfort and peace with her passing.

I've had the pleasure of working with her son Bob for a while now. If she passed on her wit and sunny disposition to Bob the same way she passed on her cheerful smile, then she must have indeed been a delight.

So sorry to hear of Mrs. Ingrassia's passing. I remember her so well growing up having "sleep-overs" with Anne. I miss Anne, she was so special. Now they are together again!

Phil, John, Lee, and Bob: I heard of your mom's passing from my mom just yesterday. I'm deeply sorry for your loss. Your mom was a wonderful lady and I'm glad to have known her. I have so many memories of my time spent with your family while growing up (Annie most of all, of course), and I continue to think of all of you. I hope that you and your families are doing well and will find some peace in your memories of what an intelligent, interesting, tough, and funny lady your mom was. And I hope that Barb can now rest in peace as well.
With best regards and deep sympathy,
Kathleen (Gerster) Voss
