Dear Kathy,
Ferris and I were so sorry to hear of Dean's passing. Our thoughts and deepest sympathy to you and your family. We heard that you moved, but don't know where, so I did not send a card. But we do want you to know that we have been thinking of you this summer. We are certain you have many memories to tuck away, and we hope those bring you comfort as you walk this journey. Fondly, Ferris & Karen VonEschen

Kathy, Sandy and I feel your loss so acutely. We will miss having dinner with the two of you when we visit Crosslake. We will be sure to see you often this summer and hope to see you in Florida when the time is right. You have many friends to support you but none of us can replace your wonderful husband. We both liked him so much While we all knew this day would come, it still doesn't seem real. If prayers and thoughts can help, know ours are with you all. Love, Pat and Sandy

Kathy, Michelle and Melissa,

I am so sorry for your loss. Dean was a great man and in many ways, a second dad to me. He was always there - sometimes inconveniently - to make sure we were safe. I know how much he loved you guys. It was so apparent. I will always remember his quick wit and his great sense of humor. He made me laugh and shake my head often! He still does. I wish I could be at the service. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Kathy and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have great memories of having sleepovers at your house with Melissa, and Dean always giving in to our begging for pizza, pop and a movie. He always made me laugh and feel welcome in your home. I could always tell how much he loved his family. Please know you will be in my thoughts and prayers.
