Richard B. Engstrom

Engstrom, Richard B. age 75, of Minnetonka, passed with grace at home on Nov. 2, 2007. Preceded in death by wife, Dorothy; and son-in-law, Dave Plattner. Beloved Dad of Jim (Paula) Engstrom and Susan Plattner. Also survived by loving sister, Elaine Augustad; grand- puppies, Luc, Annie, Henry and many special relatives and friends. Dick proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force. He retired in 1994 after working 35 years for NCR. His joys and passions in life included his family and friends, reading, crossword puzzles, fishing, golfing, bowling, the MN Vikings, volunteering for Senior Net, blackjack, betting the ponies and peanut butter pickle sandwiches. Dick and his family wish to convey their heartfelt gratitude to special nurses Linda and Lisa and the entire Methodist Hospice team for their extraordinary compassion and care. Memorial Service Thursday, Nov. 8 at 11 AM at Washburn-McReavy Strobeck Johnson Chapel, 1400 Mainstreet, Hopkins. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
