Rita sorry about Gene, he was a great man and friend to me and my mom and dad. I will miss him at cribbage tournaments, me him and John and Mike Gagnon had allot of fun at those. Love you Rita and mom and dad send there prayers.

Dear Rita, Condolences for your loss. It would not be an overstatement to say that Gene was a great and lovable guy. All who knew him would agree to that. Sorry I won't be with Jerry and Duane at Gene's funeral since I'll be on I35 returning to Mpls on that date. Again, I'm very sorry for you loss. Dave Johnson

I never had the opportunity to meet your Dad however given the beautiful daughter he raised it is testament alone to what a wonderful man he was. Our thoughts are with you during these challenging times and we mourn Gene's passing. He always had great humor and you didn't want to get wrapped up in a cribbage game with him because your odds of winning were not very good. He always treated everyone like family and it shows with your family today.

Words can not describe what you guys are going through at this time, but remember all the friends and family that you have for comfort and strength to get you through this grieving process. I'm so sorry to hear about Gene. He was always so happy and friendly to all of us kids around the block! I will always remember the time I sat in your guys backyard and played a few games with you and him. God bless you!

Our family's thoughts and prayers are with you and we send our most sincere condolences. I have many childhood memories of Gene and your family. One that sticks out in the neighborhood was when you had those annual MD carnivals in your back yard. He was so busy setting everything up and all of us girls in the neighborhood spent a good amount of time at your home helping. He was funny and sweet and made us all laugh.
Or how bout all the time spent at the St. Alphonsus Fun Fair? Great memories and I always felt so welcome in your home! May God give you grace and mercy during this sad time.
