Velonis, Helen Passed into glory on December 5th, 2009. She is survived by her daughter, Venus Pierce & her husband James, grandson Garrett, and also a sister in California, Tina. She had many spiritual children worldwide. She was born in Greece on 1933. Helen Velonis was well known for her ministry and humanitarian efforts worldwide. Some of her many contributions were to orphanages in Haiti, Philippines, and Africa. Her focus locally in the United States and in the world was "to preach the Gospel of Good News, love the unlovable, and give hope to the hopeless." A memorial service will be held February 8th at 7:00 PM at Resurrection Life Church, 16397 Glory Lane, Eden Prairie MN 55344. Woman of God
Bermuda was blessed to have her visit, minister, and share the word.I personally was propheied to on several occasions.
Definitely are missed. Will see you in heaven beloved Sister.

Helen definitely had the Lord's word for His people. I was greatly blessed by her and her ministry. Truly one of God's loyal,loving,and faithful servants. We love you Helen, lots!!!

I pray you will be comforted by the many people who loved Helen so much. She was so precious. I have thought of her so often as I recall the life she led dedicated to the cause of Christ. May God richly bless you as you continue to carry the cross.
