It has been an honor to know Charley. He simply was brilliant. Most of all he was genuine and caring to all he met. He always made me feel significant, as I know he made so many others feel in his long life. I will always value his interest in my family and the right way to treat all people. We will miss him.

Charley was a friend, mentor, and role model for generations of lawyers and "old school" (in every good sense of the term) to the core. He will be missed but never forgotten.
