Ruth Ida Rabkin Rosenbaum

Ruth Ida (Rabkin) Rosenbaum Ruth Ida (Rabkin) Rosenbaum, of Austin, Texas, formerly of Toms River, NJ, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2010, surrounded by her son Philip and his wife, Lisa, of Austin, and her daughter, Ann, and her husband, Mitchell Kramer, of Sudbury, Massachusetts. Born in 1921, Ruth graduated Beth Israel Hospital School of Nursing, and served as a US Army 1st Lieutenant in England during WWII. Wife of Isador Rosenbaum. After years in Union, NJ, they moved to Toms River where Ruth was a crew chief on the Holiday City volunteer ambulance squad. Isador died in 1987. In addition to her children, Ruth leaves grandchildren: Hollis and Ari Gauss, Daniel Kramer, Jessica Kennedy and Sam Gabbita, and Kristyn Kennedy, and one great-grandchild, Aaron Gauss.
