I can't believe that it has been five years since Nathie passed away. We shall always be blessed with her beautiful ASL, her infectious spirit, great laugh and amazing smile. She lit up every room that she entered. I still miss you Nathie and was blessed to have known you.

You will truly be missed, I was hoping to meet her this year, I retire this month and wanted to meet her next month. May God be with the Nathie children and family, she was an awesome woman and l watch, enjoy just love her videos.

Just last week I watched a video of Nathie with my ASL students and I would tell them how I got to know her as a young student at ASD. Her impact on so many of us is tremendous. Her vibrant personality and passion for ASL will always be remembered. May she rest in eternal peace.

Alberta and Norma....your mom was so very proud of you. I had the privilege of spending time with her around Christmas. We discussed the joy of raising daughters (I have two as well...one of which was my interpreter and student of your mother's). She shared pictures of you and your families, which helped me understand her pride. We shared a love for English toffee, and all types of gourmet food. Your mother was so delightful, and I am honored to have spent time with her. I am very sorry for your loss. We will miss her.

Nathie was the most inspiration lady. I remember met her once at Western PA School for the Deaf around in 2010. It was nice to chat with her. May she rest in peace and being joyful with God in kingdom.

I always think of her. She was sweet lady. I know her in Connecticut and moved to Maryland long time. She graduated Western Pennaylvania school for the deaf in Pittsburgh. I was school at WPSD, too. I live in the Rio Grande Valley and never met Dr. Marbury but saw a video of her stories. I could understand what she was signing and decided then and there to become an interpreter. Thanks, Dr. Marbury, for helping me discover my life's dream. My condolences to her family. I know she will be sorely missed by both deaf and hearing communities.

Alberta and Norma...I am sorry about your mom's passing. Your mom was strong for a while and gave whatever she can. She did but time for her to join the other side of the world...joining my dad, my sister MP and everyone. Let her rest in peace and a new journey. I'm sure that you know that Nathie is loved, respected, and revered by so very many people. She continues in the heart of each and every student at ACC who was lucky enough to have her as a teacher. She is a presence in my life still and always will be. Thank you for sharing her with me.

I had the privilege of using Dr. Marbury's videos as part of my curriculum at my ITP at SAC. I had the honor of attending a workshop she presented in San Antonio, TX. She was a truly gifted person. My prayers go out to her family during this most difficult time.

Nathie was an amazing teacher. She taught me more than just a language, but also to be passionate about your dreams, and no matter what you're facing to have a smile on your face. I will always remember her lessons, and her wonderful personality. She will truly be missed.
