I just discovered that Gene has passed.. I knew him in junior high.. I was his back yard neighbor and the girl with a huge "crush" .. He was the "cool" guy every one wanted to know. I never forgot about Gene over the years and wondered where he was and how he was doing.. Our lives went seperate ways! I am sad to have not met up with him ever again. My thoughts and prayers go with the family.. God Bless,

Gene lived in the Mobile Park I do. He was known as the guy who could do just about every job that needed done. He was seen often doing work on someone's place. He was proud of his place and the yard was just beautiful as Gene did have a green thumb. After he moved to his last place I was able to visit him as my son knew him too! He was so easy to talk with and showed this mom great respect. I may not have known him well but I can tell you his children and grandchildren were talked about with such love and pride. My heart goes out to his family. Praying peace and comfort to each one.

My thoughts are with all of you. Thinking of the BBQs on Livingston and how Gene's sense of humor made get-togethers that much more fun.

My condolences to Edna and Gene's sisters and brother. Gene lived with me twice; once when he was in grade school and again about 6 years ago. For over a year each time. I will miss Gene, he was a great Nephew. I'm sure his cousins, Laurie and Leslie, also miss him.
