I first met Phil back in 1969 while racing at the old Salem Speedway. Then later with the American Legion. We continued our friendship all these years. Mostly meeting with him at The Hitching Post. I will always remember him as a good friend. Hope to see you David at the memorial. Sorry for your loss.
