I met Jeff in January 2017. I had been looking for the Vince Lombardi USPS stamp for over 20 years, and discovered that he had several uncut sheets and blocks- I bought his whole stockpile! I was in Green Bay on business, and drove all the way to Stevens Point in a heavy snowstorm (we don't get much snow in Texas!) to purchase the stamps! While he and his son thought I was crazy for driving there, they could not have been nicer! I just found out about his death when I received the latest catalog they mailed to me. How sad, and so young as well. I'm sure Jeremy will do a great job carrying on the family legacy. I'm going to honor Jeff's (and Larry's) legacy the best way I know how- by placing an order from the store! RIP.

I was very saddened to read of Jeff's passing. I never met Jeff but had spoken to him many times over the phone and found him to be a very kind and genuine person. We always talked that it would be nice to actually meet someday in person. Prayers to the entire Fritsch family.

I am very sorry to hear that Jeff passed away. I came to visit his father with a team from the Library of Congress probably 16 or 17 years ago, and enjoyed meeting Larry.

So sad to hear the news of Jeff's passing. As a fellow collector and customer for decades, I visited Stevens Point on numerous occasions. Jeff was kind enough to visit my sports pub in LaCrosse in the past. Jeff and his dad were the pioneers in sports card hobby and sadly missed but remembered.

I was shocked to hear about Jeff. I hadn't been close to him in the last 20+ years, but he was the best man at our wedding, and a great guy. Sue, Ardy, and everyone, I am so sorry. He was too young to go.

So Sorry to hear of Jeffs Death. He called me a while back and said they were going to visit Door County in May. He also wanted me help him get in touch with a realtor up here, as he was interested in a condo in Door County. I enjoyed dealing with him and his Dad throughout the years with cards. We go back to 1972. Deepest sympathy to the whole Family. I was looking forward to seeing him in May.

Sue and family, I am saddened to hear about your loss. The Fritsch name is still known world wide in the baseball card world. To me, they are the Pioneers of the baseball card hobby. Hopefully, history will show that one day. Both "Big Lar" and Jeff were always great to me and every time I saw Jeff he always had a smile on his face. My condolences, Jeff will be missed by many.

Godspeed, old friend.
Jeff bowled me over many times when we played football our freshman year at PJs, and I will never forget our adventures together on the SPASH baseball team and during summer leagues. Dude could rake and was a big reason for our success. Best of all, he was a fun teammate.
So sorry to hear of his passing at what is today a very young age. My condolences to Sue and the kids.

So sorry for this tremendous loss of such a good young man. I remember Jeff to be quick with smile. A terrific team player in football. I wish the family peace through the pain. Stevens Point lost a good man way too early!

The Fritsch name is synonymous with the sports card hobby and no family did more to transform this hobby in so many directions. Larry and later Jeff helped make that a reality. From all of us hobbyists and loyal customers who valued the Fritsch name, brand and reputation in the industry, my condolences to the family on your loss.

Sue and Fritsch family. During Easter week if I can comfort you somehow and ease your heart, I'm hoping that love from family and friends will see you through and with time brighten the days. So stunned at the news. Last saw Jeff was at the Fritsch Field dedication. Love and Prayers to all. Sincerely, Tom Fritsch, Gr. Bay.

To the family of Jeffrey A. "Jeff" Fritsch. My condolences to the loss of neighbor Jeff. I've known Jeff all of my life. When we were attending McKinley Elementary School in Stevens Point, WI in 1967/68 school year Jeff, my brother Mark J. Janowski, my cousin Patrick Janowski and myself were enrolled in McKinley Cub Scout Pack 295. Jeff's mother Ardy and my mother Myrna were the Den Mothers it was enjoyable as well as a learning experience about the U.S.A. and civics and community. I remember when we were invited to WAOW TV 9 in Wausau, WI. To appear on the Sheriff Sid and Deputy Donna show. All six of us went to Wausau in Ardy's VW Bug with the air heater off the motor. It was - 20 but it was a real honor to appear on TV as our grandparents were impressed to see us on TV. Great childhood memories. In later years sometimes I'd see Jeff out and about and talk about different events. So long neighbor. May God rest Jeffrey's soul. I will remember Jeffrey in my prayers.
