I'm so sorry for your loss. I met Don When I joined the KC's. We also spent many times discussing the "sports world" while doing our work-outs at the YMCA. Don was known as a strong family man, a man of faith and kindness. I'm proud to call him a true friend.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I only met Mr. Bartling once. It was at Ethan's graduation party last summer. Although I only met him once, it was and is apparent that he, indeed, do a job well done. The evidence is obvious in the actions and the life of his children and grandchildren. I really only know Donna, her husband, Chris and grandchildren, Ethan and Audrey. They are exemplify everything a father, father-in-law, and grandfather would wish to claim in his family. Those kinds of descendents usually do not happen without a strong patriarch or matriarch in the family. My sympathy to all who loved Mr. Barling.
