My mother met him the first day she moved in and they were together until her death on October 19th. I came to see him but he was asleep that night. I whispered to him how much I appreciated him. I send his family my condolences and I know they are all together having a great time.

I was at the Missouri Veterans' Home when Bob came to live there. Whenever I saw him, he was always pleasant even when his health declined. May God bless his family members during this sad time and may God's Perpetual Light shine upon Bob.

I am a volunteer at the VA home where Bob was living. I took care of him and Dorothy two days a week and got to know Bob very well. He loved the days I could take them outside. He asked every day if they could go. I will miss Bob greatly as I do Dorothy. I loved them both very much. My condolences to his family.

I would like to send my condolences to the Doerr family. I attended elementary school at Ebenezer Lutheran School and I had 2 friends - Paul and Bob Doerr who grew up in Baden as I did. I am trying to locate Paul and Bob. My cell # is (636) 387-8781. I live in Arnold, MO. I also ride with the Patriot Guard Riders and I will try to attend the funeral to give honor and respect to Mr. Doerr for his military service. Thank you, Ray Hasting

Bob Doerr was one of the Best Men that I ever met in my life. The world would be a Great Place if everyone was as doeoted as Bob to making Life better for all people.
