Eddie G. Hollingsworth

Hollingsworth, Eddie G. Entered into rest on Wed., Nov. 14, 2012. Beloved husband of Jean C. Hollingsworth (nee Klinkman) for 54 years; dear father of Michael (Virginia) Hollingsworth and Gloria (Thomas) DeCampi; loving grandfather of Christian and Peter Hollingsworth, Alexander, John and Rachel DeCampi; loving brother of Sara Traviglia; our dear uncle, brother-in-law, cousin and friend to many. Eddie was employed at Boeing (formerly McDonnell Douglas) for 35 years. He held patents and designed the high-lift system for the harrier aircraft. He was also a wind tunnel specialist. Eddie was active in the Masonic community serving as a member of the Florissant Lodge for 55 years and as a Chapter Dad for Ferguson De Molay for over 5 years. As a Dad, not only was he devoted in serving with De Molay but also as Swim Team President for his children's team. During his retirement years, not only was Eddie a devoted Rams fan but an avid outdoorsman, often seen at rendezvous re-enacting Early American History. In addition to enjoying his retirement, Eddie served in the Lake Sherwood's Board of Directors and spent the Christmas season working as Santa for over twelve years, most recently at Chesterfield Mall.
