G.W. Witherow Obituary

Witherow, G.W. Aviator, Artist, Brother, Cousin, Uncle and Friend. He spoke frequently of one true love, and the family and friends he missed for the past 25 years. And of those who had judged him so harshly, how they can forever pucker up to his posterior. A memorial bash will be held at Moon's Pub, 215 South B. Street, San Mateo, California 94401 at a date and time to be announced.

My mother-in-law passed Mr. Witherow's obituary onto me as she knew I'd love the spunk it shows. Clearly he was a man true to himself, to his love, and his life. I wish I had known such a fellow! My condolences and blessings to his family & friends - the world needs more people in it like he seems to have been.

Mr. Witherow's obituary is enigmatic and intriguing and begs expansion; one wonders at the references. He must have been a very interesting and accomplished person.
The Quiet Birdmen mention is mystic; it is a very discreet organization.

Gary was a wonderful brother and uncle and an amazingly sincere, compassionate, sensitive and truly unique human being. He traveled, then settled down in, of course, San Francisco. He met and loved a woman with whom he spent the last 25 years of his life. We visited him though the years and he had became a respected and loved member of his community and someone his father, Walter, would have been very proud of. Last month, my son and I spent some time with him and he gave me his obituary. I noticed he still had a little of that young rascal left that I remembered from long ago.
We miss him so much.

Walt was one of the finest persons I have had the pleasure of knowing. Without the Quiet Birdmen our paths may not have crossed. Burro my friend............
